William Ge
William Ge, a student at Phillips Academy Andover, is a Caroline D. Bradley Scholar, a 3rd-year recipient of the Chopin Foundation’s Chopin Scholarship, and an NPR From The Top Fellow. His recent accolades include Chopin Award and Second Place at 2023 MTNA National Senior Piano Competition, Top prize at 2023 Jacob Flier International Piano Competition, Grand Prize at 2023 Boston Pops Fidelity Investments Young Artists Competition, and First Place at the 2024 Harvard Music Association High School Achievement Awards. William’s concerto appearances include performances with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Boston Pops. Most recently, he performed Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in Jordan Hall with NEC’s Youth Symphony. William has performed numerous solo and chamber recitals in the United States and Europe, including two solo recitals in the 2023-2024 “Chopin for All” concert series invited by the Chopin Foundation of the United States. William has been awarded scholarships to many renowned international music festivals, including the Cliburn International Junior Piano Festival, Morningside Music Bridge, PianoSummer at New Paltz and the Frost Chopin Academy. William currently studies piano with Jonathan Bass at NEC-Prep. He previously studied with Ya-Fei Chuang, John Perry, Natalie Zhu and the late Joy Kiszely.
