Alani Gibson

Twelve-year-old pianist Alani Gibson shines in the classical music world, studying under Grace Han, a Juilliard Scholar, at the Colburn School of Music.

Alani is a four-time Merit Scholarship recipient at Colburn. Her talent and dedication have earned her numerous accolades, including performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City, underscoring her exceptional skills and stage presence.

She won the Inaugural Nina Simone Piano Competition for the Junior division. At Colburn, Alani has participated in Chamber music, been designated an honors student, and competed in the McAllister Honors Competition.

Her dream of performing at the White House is closer to reality, with her participation under review after being recommended by Congressman Pete Aguilar. Additionally, Alani is under consideration to perform in Season 56 of Sesame Street, potentially reaching a broader audience.

Ranked #1 among U.S. entrants for the 2022 Rising Stars Grand Prix Music Competition, Alani has attended master classes with renowned musicians such as Kris Bowers, Lang Lang, and Pedja Muzijevic. Her interests include creative writing, swimming, and recognition by NASA as a next-generation Artemis kid.

Alani’s dedication and accomplishments mark her as a promising talent with a bright future in classical music.
