Christian Douglas
Christian Douglas is a San Francisco-based pianist and composer. He has performed internationally at venues such as The DiMenna Center (New York, New York), Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles, California), Gilles-Lefebvre Concert Hall (Quebec, Canada), and The Jose Martí Memorial Hall (Havana, Cuba). Additionally, he has been a prizewinner of competitions such as the London Youth Piano Competition, Quebec International Music Competition, and Southern California Bach Festival. His compositions can be heard in short films that have appeared at the MoonDance Film Festival and the S.E. Manly Short Film Festival, as well as video games funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Christian received his undergraduate degree on full scholarship from the New York University under the tutelage of Dr. Yoojung Kim. He is currently in pursuit of his masters degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the instruction of Awadagin Pratt.
