Ramilya Saubanova
Dr. Ramilya Saubanova, a pianist from Tatarstan, Russia, has earned acclaim over her 21–year musical journey. She has won prestigious competitions like the World Vision Music International Competition (Grand–Prix) and received numerous scholarships, including the Presidential Scholarship of Tatarstan.
Ramilya has performed at notable venues such as the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic and the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater, collaborating with orchestras including the Rostov Academic Symphony Orchestra. She was elected to the American Honor Society Pi Kappa Lambda in 2020.
Educated at Kazan State Conservatory and the Peabody Conservatory, Johns Hopkins University, she holds Master and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees. Ramilya is also the founder of the Tatar Music Concert Series in the USA, which integrates music with history, poetry, and painting for a rich cultural experience. Her debut solo CD, featuring works by Latchford, Crozier, Medtner and Brahms, will be released in 2025.
