Kids Discovery Day 6/23

This Sunday, June 23, SFCM and KDFC are partnering to present Kids Discovery Day in the Bowes Center. This event to welcome Bay Area families to the building, will have multiple performing arts organizations, including SFCM and KDFC, turning various spaces in the Bowes Center into interactive exhibits and performance spaces.

The event will be taking place from 11am-4pm on Sunday. Please note that we are expecting a few thousand people to visit the Bowes Center throughout this period. The Student Commons and Cafe on the 1st floor will be closed off from the general public to allow for certain summer housing residents to grab their lunches. Almost all other spaces on both basement levels, 1st, 2nd, 11th and 12th floors will be used for the event. Elevators will be prioritized for the event, with stairwells open for residents.

Unless you are attending the event as a guest, or you are a Bowes resident, you should avoid coming to the Bowes Center during the event times.

Otherwise, you're welcome to join the family friendly event. I think there are a bunch of coloring books.
