Brielle Perez

Since her debut at the age of ten, Brielle Perez has captivated audiences with her exuberant sound and technical command. At thirteen, she embarked on her musical journey at New York University under the esteemed guidance of Mr. Eduardus Halim. Perez’s engagements span the United States, Europe, and Asia, where she has earned top prizes in competitions such as the New York Piano Festival Competition and the Málaga International Piano Competition and participating in festivals such as the Tanglewood music festival, the Puerto Piano and Strings festival in Puerto Rico and the PortoPiano Fest of Portugal. Her most recent notable highlights include her 2023 performances of the complete Rachmaninov Etudes-Tableaux, as well as her performance of Bartok’s 2nd concerto with the NYU Symphony under the baton of David Bloom, and invitations to play at David Dubal’s 'Piano Evenings' Class where he proclaimed that she was “…born to play Rachmaninov!”. Having graduated from NYU with the Ida Bodman service award in women’s leadership as well as the award for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Piano Performance’, she will be attending The Juilliard School in Fall 2024 for her Master’s degree in Piano Performance in the shared studio of Orli Shaham and Hung-Kuan Chen.
