Tracy Tang, 20, is pursuing her bachelor degree at the New England Conservatory under Alexander Korsantia. Born in the US, Tracy grew up in China and moved to Vienna at the age of 11 where she studied with Noel Flores at the University for Performing Arts. She then moved to Paris, studying with Aquiles Delle Vigne while attending the pre-college division at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Winner of competitions worldwide, Tracy has performed in halls such as the Musikverein and Carnegie Hall. Among the festivals Tracy has attended are Aspen Music Festival and School, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Piano Summer New Paltz, Tel-Hai International Piano Masterclasses, and Mozarteum Summer Academy. She worked with artists such as Dimitri Bashkirov, Hung-Kuan Chen, Sergei Dorensky, Jerome Lowenthal, Robert Levin, Pavel Nersessian, Andrey Pisarev, Matti Raekallio, and Menahem Pressler.
A collegiate ambassador at the Boston Symphony Orchestra and a fellow in the Community Performance Partnership program at the New England Conservatory, Tracy is actively involved in her local community performing for schools and senior centers. She frequently gives benefit concerts for disaster reliefs and refugee crises across the globe.
