Diana Chubak is a Ukrainian pianist currently based in Cincinnati (OH), USA. She was born in 1995 in Ternopil (Ukraine) and graduated from Mykola Lysenko Lviv Music Academy in 2018, where she studied with Oksana Rapita. She is a laureate of many international competitions including Competition after Myroslav Skoryk (Ukraine, 2016); the award “Golden Parnassus” at the XII International Piano Forum “Bieszczady without borders” (Poland, 2017); and Second Prize at the VIII International Siegfried-Weishaupt-Klavierwettbewerb competition (Ochsenhausen, Germany, 2018).

As a soloist, she has performed with National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine, Academia Dell’Arco Chamber Orchestra (Poland), Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, Lviv Festival Orchestra, and College-Conservatory of Music (Cincinnati) Chamber Orchestra. She has studied/participated in masterclasses with such pianists as Andrzej Yasinskyi (Poland), Martin Lysholm Jepsen (Denmark), Matti Raekallio (USA), Lily Dorfman (Israel), Philippe Giusiano (France), Kevin Kenner (USA), and Daniel Shapiro (USA). She has performed in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, the USA, and Belgium.

Since 2017 Diana has been a participant of the Vere Music Fund Grant Program. In 2019 she received a scholarship from Richard Wagner Society for participation at Bayreuth Festival 2019. Diana was awarded the Graduate Incentive Full Scholarship at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. She is studying there under the guidance of Dror Biran.
