These concerts are free, but as we still have to pay for artists and the tech to bring you them, a donation is much appreciated. As a thank you for donations of $100 or more, you’ll be able to participate in special Q+As with the artists, and also have access to other exclusive content.

This festival is free for the young musicians who travel from all corners of the globe to come to Cincinnati and study, play, and learn – a rarity among American festivals. This approach has paid off: this past summer, we all watched as a 2018 AoP Young Artist (Avery Gagliano) worked her way up to the semi-finals at Cliburn Junior. And a few weeks ago, we were thrilled when 2018 Enlight Prize winner Simon Karakulidi won third prize at the Olga Kern Competition.

This is only a taste of our Young Artists’ capabilities. We want their only limits to be their ability and how hard they’re willing to work – not how large their pocketbook is. That’s why we have instituted the Enlight Prize (which will be $10,000 for 2020). It alleviates some of the financial strain that comes with being a young musician, allowing them to focus on practice and learning.

We also cover the cost of housing and tuition for all participants.

If you’d like to help out, you can add a donation to your season pass at checkout, or you can also donate directly via our website. Or, maybe you’d like to share Art of the Piano with a friend and buy an extra pass? Any amount helps, and is deeply appreciated.

We’re growing in audience and impact, and are excited about what the future holds for this festival. Thank you for being part of it. We can’t wait to see you in 2020!
