Project Description

Tatiana Dorokhova was born in 1991 in Volgograd. She graduated with distinction from Volgograd music school № 14 (the class of Anna Tcherfas), Central Music School in Moscow (the class of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor of Moscow State Conservatory Alexander Mndoyants), and Moscow State Conservatory (the class of Professor Alexander Mndoyants).

Tatiana has been winning international and national Competitions since 2001, among them the International Serebryakov Piano Competition (1st prize, Volgograd, Russia, 2004), the International Rachmaninov Piano Competition (3rd prize, Veliky Novgorod, Russia, 2006), the International Krainev Piano Competition (1st prize, Kharkov, Ukraine, 2008), the International Piano Premio Jaen (2nd prize, Jaen, Spain, 2011), the International Val Tidone Music Competition (2nd prize, Val Tidone, Italy, 2014), and the Ninth Johann Nepomuk Hummel International Piano Competition (3rd prize, Bratislava, Slovakia, 2017).

She also takes part in the concert programs of the International Charitable Fund of V. Spivakov, and the Fund of V.Krainev the Fund of M.Rostropovich. She is a grant-aided student of the Cultural Ministry of the Russian Federation. She recorded an album which includes little-known works by Russian composers, and has toured throughout Russia, Belgium, Denmark, and Japan.
